Lauren has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. After spending most of her career in general practice, joining the ECC team at VRC brought a renewed perspective and deepened her love for veterinary medicine. She values the variety and challenges of emergency care, and enjoys working alongside a highly collaborative team of doctors.

 As the ECC Nursing Manager, Lauren is committed to ensuring her team has the tools, support, and resources needed to provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients and their families. She appreciates that mentoring, growth, and continuous learning are core parts of VRC’s culture.

 Outside of work, Lauren trains in Schutzhund/IGP with her Belgian Malinois, where she enjoys the problem‑solving and clear communication required in working‑dog training. She hopes to one day gain the experience needed to compete at a national level. She also enjoys quieter, local adventures with her senior French Mastiff.
