Originally from Atlanta, Georgia; Colleen Martin, DVM, MS, Practice Limited to Oncology received her Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Oswego in zoology and a Master of Science degree from the University of Rochester in immunology. After spending a few years working in cancer research, she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. She went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York as well as a medical oncology internship and residency at North Carolina State University.

Dr. Martin’s clinical interests include the human-animal bond, hematopoietic malignancies, comparative oncology, and targeted cancer therapies.
