Dr. Christine Holland was born in Aurora, Illinois but raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kutztown University with minors in biochemistry and mathematics. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved extensively in research which led to her interest in veterinary medicine and continued education. Dr. Holland then returned to her Illinois roots and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from University of Illinois. During her time there, she developed an interest and passion in emergency medicine which she has continued to pursue since graduation. Dr. Holland returned to the east coast and joined the Emergency and Critical Care team at VRC in 2024. Outside of work, Dr. Holland enjoys reading, hiking with her significant other, and crafting.
