Dr. Jett is a Lancaster County native. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at Messiah University, and then pursued her degree in veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She returned to her home state of Pennsylvania to complete her small-animal rotating and critical care internships at BluePearl North Hills in Pittsburgh, PA, where she stayed on to complete an Emergency and Critical Care Residency Training program. Following completion of her residency program, she worked as a staff criticalist at BluePearl Christiana in Newark, DE for several years before joining the team at VRC in 2024. Dr. Jett is actively pursuing board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and her interests include polytrauma, coagulation and transfusion medicine, blood dyscrasias, respiratory disease, and advanced oxygen delivery methods.
Outside of work, Dr. Jett and her husband Joshua are competitive lifters (heavyweight strongwoman/strongman) and spend most of their free time at the gym or competing in strongman competitions around the country. Dr. Jett’s favorite events are vehicle pulls and Atlas Stones. She also enjoys spending quality time on her little hobby farm with her giant Newfoundland mix, Jack, and her small army of cats and chickens.
