Dr. Raphael Vezina is originally from Montréal. He attended McGill University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology and again in 2009 with a Master of Science degree in Biology. In 2014, he completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University of Montreal, School of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately after graduating veterinary school, he worked in private practice in Montréal for a year. He later pursued a residency in veterinary anesthesia at the University of Pennsylvania, School of veterinary medicine with Dr. Bernd Driessen as his program director, and completed the residency in July of 2018.
His clinical interests include pain management and locoregional analgesia.
